The Banque de France and the Université Paris Dauphine – PSL welcome submissions for the conference “Financial Intermediation and Monetary Policy: Recent Trends and New Challenges”, scheduled to take place at the Banque de France headquarters in Paris on 25 November 2024. 

The organizers invite submissions of high-quality theoretical and empirical papers on topics related to financial intermediation and monetary policy. 
Particularly relevant topics include:

  • Monetary policy transmission and banks;
  • Banking competition and monetary policy;
  • Bank funding amid fluctuating interest rates;
  • The impact of digital transformation for financial intermediation;
  • Fintech and financial products and services: implications for monetary policy.

The keynote speaker is Prof. Robin Greenwood (Harvard Business School and NBER).

Full papers in PDF should be submitted to:

The deadline for submitting papers is 31 August 2024 (midnight). Authors will be notified by 20 September 2024

Practical Information
The conference does not cover travel and accommodation expenses. There are no registration fees to attend the conference.
